Hi John: I’ve written to Sen. Watson and Rep. Vital as well as Chuck Fleischmann and both of our senators about this. Only heard back Bo and Greg. To put i5 simply, the SEC has absolutely zero authority to do this. It’s basically a fraud perpetrated against the American people simply to generate more revenue for the overspenders in Washington.
Most likely unconstitutional because a private firm is given management authority over public and private lands. Also time to revisit the limitations landowners suffer under conservation easements. Must rein in land trusts.
