Kirk's Death Exposes Epidemic of Public Figures Lying
We think people know the truth...they don't.
Decades of tolerating lies and misdirection by public officials and a laissez-faire attitude that somehow people will intuitively know the truth has led us into an inferno of hellish falsehoods that threatens the foundations of our freedoms.
Not satisfied with twisting the truth, prominent public figures are manufacturing whole stories, posting them on social media where they instantly create a contorted alternate universe.
Just The News noted that “Public employees across the U.S. are facing sanctions including firing for social media comments that celebrate or condone the assassination of Charlie Kirk, sometimes selectively paraphrasing his comments on the Second Amendment's tradeoffs as Kirk's admission that he could be hoisted by his own petard.
“High-profile public figures and institutions from New York to Washington and Dallas to Hollywood have gone beyond cherrypicking Kirk's words since his death, however, attributing others' words to him, fabricating or editing quotes and making assertions about his alleged killer and political movement that are lacking or contradicted by hard evidence.
“Some have walked back their claims when confronted or sought to clarify what they meant, while others made fresh dubious remarks in correcting themselves.”
We either speak the truth about Christianity, COVID-19, climate change, wokeness, illegals, pharma’s influence, surveillance, voter fraud, or it will be buried under a landslide of falsehoods
I haven’t met a single leftist that knew what the word fascist means, yet they hurl the word like a universal anti-conservative expletive. Through repetition, it sticks. “Hey fascist, catch!” was written on Tyler Anderson’s shell casing next to the rifle that led to Charlie’s death.
Kirk knew the dangers of leftist indoctrination of impressionable teens and pre-teens. He used debate and critical thinking to open more eyes to truth.
The left knows critical thinking exposes their falsehoods and would mean the death of America’s Marxism. That’s why, while twisted public figures didn’t pull the trigger that killed Charlie; and while they sanctimoniously decry violence, inwardly they hoped the truth would die with him.
It didn’t. Charlie’s movement continues as a powerful force to teach critical thinking to our young.
Still the left cannot afford to lose the battle to recast truth and the liars excel at their singular talent.
Recall James Comey’s look of innocence as he lied about the false Trump-Russia collusion narrative. Picture Anthony Fauci’s professional confidence as he notified the world of COVID-19’s natural origins and the practiced smug indignance he displayed when emails revealed he was lying through his teeth all along. These people are good. Crooked, but good.
Until all of these figures are exposed for the hustlers they are we risk losing every one of our Constitutional protections. Share the truth whenever the opportunity appears.
